maribeth and i went to Time Out for Women this past weekend. friday nite we only stayed for about an hour. then headed off for sushi. sooooooooo goooooood. then came saturday. i have to say that i really did not want to go. i didn't want to leave my family for the whole day. what's wrong with me? i seriously think i have separation issues. anyways... when maribeth came to pick me up she was feeling the same way. until we got there. WOW what an amazing day. i've never been to a time out for women before. i absolutely loved it!!!!!! it couldn't have come at a more perfect time for me. i was on a spiritual high for the rest of the day. still am! i was once again reminded that I AM a child of god and that is SO precious to me. i LOVE being a wife, i LOVE being a mother, and i LOVE being a daughter of god! so i have made it a goal to find JOY and HAPPINESS in my everyday life. especially through the bad days. and there have been plenty of those. i just the love the comfort of knowing how much my heavenly father loves me and the example of Christ is more than enough to get me through it all. i can't wait for the womens broadcast today, and then general conference next week...man i think i'm gonna be on this spiritual high for a LONG while!

I Loved it also. You missed a really good performance Friday night. Amazing, but I think Saturday was way better. I loved the things I learned as well. Just enough to help you make it through some more tough times!!
I've always heard such good things about this program, but I've never gone. Maybe one of these years I will! Thanks for helping out in nursery today!!
