2 months down 10 more to go

for any one who ever watched 7th heaven, and know who anne canden was, that was my goal for the year... to be her. for those who don't know, she was the minister's wife with many many talents. she was the plumber,the mechanic, the gardener,the chief ,the baker, home designer, the world's greatest mom and wife, and the list goes on and on and on. so..... i decided that i was going to accomplish many goals this year. i figured if i pick a talent each month i would go far. i got a little bit of a late start,but it's better late than never. so here we go......

1. learn to bake. i'm a horrible baker(no really, i burn the already made cookie dough) i've made a few things and they've turned out pretty good,but i want to get better. so once a month i try a new recipes.
2. thanks to maribeth i'm going to learn to sew. (she doesn't know yet.)
3.i'm going to take a photography class. (which will start in 2 months)
4. become an expert on my scrapboooking skills. that means i'm going to finish my daughters book and start on my son's.
5.i WILL start on my genealogy and get far.
6. learn to make bread.
7. i have always wanted to learn how to rappel. (tara and her husband are going to teach me. they don't know yet:) i would love to go hiking at least once a month.
8.learn to play the piano. i've ALWAYS wanted to learn.
9. i would love to volunteer at opportunity village.
10. make scarfs for the homeless and hand out during the winter and christmas.
11. start a veggie garden.
12.take a trip to california just to hang out on the beach. nothing else, just the beach.
that's it. doesn't seem too hard right?!?!?
